Boom Truck Operator:
Operates a Boom Truck/Crane to deliver roofing material and related products to job sites throughout Maine
Must be able to skillfully and safely operate Class A truck / trailer through all types of environments, including off-road on jobsite
Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and receipt of material and related products.
Inspects vehicle for road worthiness, reporting needs for maintenance and repair when needed.
Ensures that material and related products are properly loaded, checked and secured before leaving the warehouse.
May be required to make deliveries utilizing other company owned vehicles.
Is responsible for operating a Forklift in a safe manner.
Uses/wears appropriate safety equipment and observes safety policies and practices.
Helps maintain a neat and orderly warehouse.
a valid NCCO certificate is preferred but not required.
5+ years related experience driving large commercial trucks is desired.
A valid CDL and good driving/safety record;
Knowledge of and ability to comply with DOT requirements;
Physically fit – must be able to lift up to 90 lbs.
Roofing Knowledge desired but not required.
Roofers and sheet metal workers:
No experience required for entry level positions. Continued improvement in manual skills and job knowledge is expected with length of service.
Utilize scaffolding and ladders.
Operate motorized equipment
Skilled in use of various hand and power tools
Usually works as part of a “crew” and must be able to function in a group setting.
Work Safely and comply with all company, state, and Federal safety standards.
Work performed with no quality errors.
High attendance without unapproved absences.
Punctual. Arrive at work and available to start work at appropriate time so as to not delay crew.
Positive team attitude with all others in the company
